Claigan House is a recently renovated, traditional white painted, stone built farmhouse that serves as an ideal base, near Dunvegan, to visit all the famous sites on Skye. It can be traced back to the 17th century when it was part of the MacLeods of Dunvegan Castle estate. Nestled in a stunning, rural area, this home near Dunvegan offers breathtaking views of Loch Dunvegan, across the Minch to the Outer Hebrides and Beinn Bhreac, the hill range to the east of the house. The ground floor double, ensuite bedroom provides lovely views of the garden and the hills to the East. Upstairs, there's another double, ensuite bedroom with garden views, and a king-size, ensuite bedroom boasting dual aspect windows—one overlooking the garden and the other facing Dunvegan Loch. The fourth bedroom is a king-size room with a cozy reading neuk window that looks out over Dunvegan Loch, as well as a velux window offering stunning views of the Outer Hebrides. This room has exclusive access to a family bathroom located opposite, which includes a walk-in shower and a slipper bath with beautiful hill views.
Ample parking space is available, along with a garden area perfect for outdoor relaxation. The owner lives in a self contained annex and is available to welcome you and assist in any way if you contact her.
